About Me

I’ve been shooting underwater for over 30 years, I was among the earliest adopters and promoters of digital technology for underwater photography, authoring the first digital underwater photography specialty course in the world in 2001. I went on to contribute regular columns on photography techniques to dive and photography publications. I have authored or co-authored a dozen books on underwater photography, and am frequently called upon as a judge in photo competitions.
